SUMMARY:Las Guaracheras
DESCRIPTION:The all-female sextet Las Guaracheras was born in 2017 in the city of Cali\, Colombia\, an initiative of the percussionists Laura Linares and Mónica Castro. As lovers of the son (“sound” in Spanish) and guaracha genres\, they decided to form an instrumental group in which they could express all their intense musical feelings while\, at the same time\, preserving the essence of guaracha. Guarachas were played and sung in musical theatres and working class dance salons during the late 19th and early 20th century. The ensemble’s cultural and artistic objective is to uplift the female voice within Afro-Latin music and build a more inclusive\, diverse\, and respectful cultural space for all. \nWith improvisation on each instrument as its driving force\, Las Gauracheras evoke the sound of the great sextets of history. The vibraphone has a special place in the band\, since the women have long been fascinated by its legacy and wanted to incorporate it into an updated version of salsa. Las Guaracheras embody the best and most visionary female orchestras of Caleña and Colombian salsa. Above all\, the cultural and artistic objective of the ensemble is to elevate the female voice in Afro-Latin music and thus build a more inclusive\, diverse and respectful cultural space where we all fit. \n

SUMMARY:Rising Appalachia
DESCRIPTION:As world travelers for nearly two decades\, Chloe and Leah Smith have merged multiple global music influences with their own southern roots to create the international phenomenon that is Rising Appalachia \nRising Appalachia established its international fan base due to relentless touring\, tireless activism\, and no small degree of stubborn independence. Remarkably the band has built its legion of listeners independently — a self-made success story that has led to major festival appearances and sold-out shows at venues across the country. Rising Appalachia has toured British Columbia by sailboat\, traversed the U.S. and Europe by train\, and engaged in immersive cultural exchange programs in Bulgaria\, Ireland\, Southern Italy\, Central and South America – not to mention the countless miles in a van. Tour highlights include: Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco; Music Hall Williamsburg in Brooklyn\, New York; Boulder Theatre in Boulder\, Colorado; and the Showbox in Seattle\, Washington. The band consistently sells between 400 and 1500 tickets wherever they play\, a testament to their loyal fan base. \nLeah and Chloe consider performing to be just one component of a greater overall vision – one that includes advocating for social justice\, racial justice\, environmental justice\, and Indigenous rights. \n“Rising Appalachia has come out of this idea that we can take these traditions of southern music – that we’ve been born and raised with – and we can rise out of them\, creating all these different bridges between cultures and stories to make them feel alive.” Leah says. “Our music has its foundation in heritage and tradition\, but we’re creating a music that also feels reflective of the times right now. That’s always been our work.” \n

SUMMARY:Solas
DESCRIPTION:Solas stepped out onto the world stage in 1996\, when Irish music was poised at the brink of a new era of innovation and popularity. The five young musicians who made up the band at the time had no idea that they were to be a galvanizing element in the Irish music scene – a lightening rod of talent and inspiration that set new standards for musicianship\, repertoire\, and intensity. “We thought we were doing a one-off project\,” said multi-instrumentalist Seamus Egan with a smile\, ten years after the fact. Egan and fiddler Winifred Horan have remained with the band through a decade that has encompassed seven albums and endless international touring and critical acclaim. \n“The finest Celtic ensemble this country has ever produced…combines a deep empathy for the wild grace of traditional music with a savvy understanding of modern arrangement\, creating a remarkably contemporary and timeless sound that led them immediately to Celtic superstardom…uniquely fluid\, warmly melodic and robust.” – The Boston Globe \nAfter an 8-year hiatus\, the band announced a 30th anniversary reunion tour starting in 2025\, with a stop in Hamilton\, MT! \n

SUMMARY:TopHouse
DESCRIPTION:A two-day 2026 Summer Concert Series featuring: \nTopHouse – Friday July 10\, 2026  &  Lee Rocker – Saturday July 11\, 2026\nTopHouse\nFolk? Bluegrass? Rock? Irish? Pop? A lot of people ask us what genre we are. The truth is\, we don’t know. Check out some of our music and let us know what you think. TopHouse was created in 2015 by two Montana music majors\, guitarist/songwriter Jesse Davis and violinist William Cook before adding Joseph Larson (lead singer and guitar/banjo player\,) and Andy LaFave (piano) in 2017 and 2022 respectively. After being vaulted to local fame in their birthplace of Missoula\, with the Missoulian naming TopHouse one of the top 5 best new bands (two years in a row we might add)\, the band moved to Nashville\, TN in October of 2019. TopHouse quickly set to work attaining a local residency as well as getting music played on Nashville’s premier new-music radio station Lightning 100. With some viral social media moments\, a healthy dose of touring\, consistent time in the studio\, and a diet of Little Caesars and Red Bull\, TopHouse has continued to grow to the point of selling out venues in cities they’ve never even heard of. When they aren’t touring the U.S. they can be found around Nashville TN\, trying not to die in traffic and/or throwing the occasional round of disc golf. The band’s releases include Middle of Somewhere\, Hopes & Fears\, Snapshot\, The Irish EP\, and Campfire Stories. The band is currently releasing new music\, with their latest singles “Better is the End” and “Be Nobody” having their biggest first weeks to date (knock on wood). \nhttps://tophousetheband.com \nSummer Concert Details\n\nThis concert series is an outdoor two-day event Friday July 10\, 2026\, and Saturday July 11\, 2026\, at the Daly Mansion. \n2-Day Cabana & 2-Day Lawn Passes are available\, all other tickets are sold individually for each show. \n  \nTimes\n\n\nGates Open: 5:00pm\nOpening Acts: 7:00pm\nHeadliners: 8:00pm\n\nTopHouse on Friday night and Lee Rocker on Saturday night will take the stage at 8pm. SUMMARY:Lao Tizer Band
DESCRIPTION:Colorado-bred\, LA-based keyboardist Lao Tizer embodies what it means to be a 21st-century musician inhabiting the jazz sphere ⎯ that being one who embraces musical diversity and has no fear of crossing boundaries. Tizer hit the ground running\, applying his classical piano skills to jazz and releasing his first self-produced solo keyboard albums while still in high school. After graduating from Boulder High\, Tizer moved to LA and studied with legendary piano guru Terry Trotter for about two years\, forgoing formal music education to instead learn technique on the bandstand. His self-titled  band has attracted many top players to its ranks ⎯ GRAMMY-winning saxophonist Eric Marienthal (Chick Corea)\, Emmy-winning guitarist Chieli Minucci (Special EFX)\, Senegalese bassist Cheikh N’Doye (Baaba Maal)\, violinist extraordinaire Karen Briggs (Stanley Clarke)\, GRAMMY-winning drum phenom Gene Coye (Hiromi) and legendary GRAMMY-winning percussionist Munyungo Jackson (Stevie Wonder) Together\, they’ve become a steady presence at LA hotspots and entertaining audiences at premier jazz festivals around the world. The six albums he has released as a leader have seen Tizer steadily grow while constantly defining (and redefining) who he is as a keyboardist\, composer\, and bandleader. With eyes set on the future and a willingness to keep exploring\, Tizer’s simplest ethos perhaps sums it up best: “I say forget the boundaries. Just make good music and try to connect with as many listeners as you can.” \n\n

SUMMARY:Tomáseen Foley's A Celtic Christmas
DESCRIPTION:For 29 years\, with a world-class ensemble of musicians\, dancers and singers from both sides of the Atlantic\, Tomáseen Foley’s A Celtic Christmas has played to packed concert halls and to critical acclaim nationwide\, recreating on stage the now-famous Rambling House; that remote cottage in the West of Ireland\, where the neighbors gather every year for a communal night before Christmas. There\, the rafters ring with fiery traditional music\, Irish Christmas carols\, riveting traditional dance and\, of course\, stories of life in the remote parish of Teampall an Ghleanntáin\, Tomáseen’s birthplace. The show invites its audience to come into that cottage\, into that world\, into that era\, with us\, and be our neighbors for the night. “When I was a child\, it was around the fireplace of my neighbors’ thatched cottage that I experienced the last remnants of the old communal way of life. The family was the center of the community then\, and the community was the center of life itself; the shining axle around which the great wheel of the universe revolved. Stories\, music\, song and dance were the spokes of that slowly turning wheel.” -TOMÁSEEN FOLEY \n\n

SUMMARY:Piano Battle
DESCRIPTION:Armed with charm and chutzpah\, Andreas and Paul\, push the limits and chart new territories\, presenting what you don’t normally get in other classical concerts without taking away the very beauty of classical music. True to their roots\, the pianists tackle their mutual challenge with a virtuosic and energetic approach. Chopin\, Liszt\, Rachmaninov and Scriabin? No problem. Just let the fingers fly around the keyboard and the audience will see what the two artists are capable of. But power and speed are not everything – tone\, phrasing and fine nuances are also important as ingredients for a convincing performance. Will Schubert\, Brahms or Debussy work\, or are they too safe a choice? Being experimental\, bold\, contemporary and sporty is the order of the day. Audience members are invited to play an active role in the performance that enhances both the musical and entertainment experience. \nThe recent donation of a second baby grand piano to the Hamilton Performing Arts Center allows a new opportunity to host two dueling virtuoso pianists.
